aha Hotels & Lodges is pleased to announce the latest addition to the aha family by securing the full management and marketing contract for the Sefapane Lodges & Safaris in Phalaborwa, Limpopo province effective as of 1st March 2017. Sefapane Lodges & Safaris is situated at the Phalaborwa Gate just 1 km away from the Kruger National Park. Set amongst the magnificent bushveld landscapes, it offers rich cultural attractions, including the scenic Panorama Route.

The 4 Star aha Sefapane Lodges & Safaris presents 3 lodge areas. The Sefapane Main Lodge consists of traditional thatched designed rondavels and comfortably designed safari houses. The Sefapane River Lodge’s rondavels are located on the banks of the Olifants River in a private game reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. The Sefapane Tented Camp offers family tents and dome tents. The Calabash Grill restaurant serves African flavoured cuisines with modern favourites and local specialties.

Set within our sprawling tropical gardens and a canopy of bushveld trees, these 30 x Rondavels offers guests a glimpse of the resident birdlife and its brilliant colours and sounds in the trees and on the water.

You can also enjoy easy access to the gardens.

RIVER LODGE RONDAVELS
Each Standard Room is tastefully decorated with African décor and features a relaxing outdoor sitting area, as well as a range of amenities for your comfort and enjoyment. Two adults can be accommodated in either 2 x Single Beds or 1 x King-size Bed configuration with an en-suite bathroom and an adventurous outdoor shower under the African sun.

TENTED CAMP
These 4 x permanent tents are fixed on platforms overlooking the Olifants River and include 4 x 2-man dome tents. Our camp setup also accommodate 4, 8, 16 or 24 guests – depending on bed configuration.

RIVER SAFARI
Enjoy a cruise along the banks of the Olifants River, amongst hippos, crocodiles and a variety of other animals and birds. In the morning coffee/tea and pastries are provided on the cruise.
In the afternoon we’ll serve sundowners and snacks. The River Safari cruise is a duration of 4 hours, includes drinks and snacks and is suitable for all ages to enjoy.
